Through the new deal, NorthStar will provide real-time data to NBA bettors – while sporting the official insignia and logos of the famed basketball league.
Michael Moskowitz, CEO and a founding partner of NorthStar Gaming, said of the new partnership: “As an Authorised Gaming Operator, NorthStar Gaming will connect our players with official data and stats from the NBA and provide them with an insights-packed user experience. We’re excited to offer current and future NorthStar Bets players with an authentic NBA experience on our platform.”
The Ontario-based gambling company already provides its services to multiple other leagues and sports in Canada, with its pre-game and live in-game betting used in conjunction with the National Hockey League (NHL) through a prior agreement it has with the US sport.
Meanwhile, NorthStar recently also announced it had signed a new Ontario agreement with Pragmatic Play, which will see it provide real-time news, stats, analysis and scores directly in the betting environment along with the most popular online casino games.
After announcing the deal, Irina Cornides, COO at Pragmatic Play, said: “We’re delighted to partner with NorthStar Gaming and to add to NorthStar Bets’ online casino offering with our award-winning slots.
“The NorthStar team has a strong vision of what they can achieve in the growing Canadian market – and we’re excited to deliver our content within the immersive NorthStar Bets online casino for slots fans to enjoy.”
Furthermore, Casumo went live in Ontario recently, with players now able to play a range of slots, table and card games by downloading the Casumo mobile app on their iOS or Android devices.
